11. ghost rider
12. the bridge to terabitha

i'll post a brief summary of each so i could remember what it is all about. for now music and lyrics first.

alex fletcher character played by hugh grant is a former pop star and a member of a band 'pop' on which after 15 years they had disbanded. one member of the band, who went solo, was still successful while alex did not make it alone. and to get back to mainstream he must composed a song to have duet with cora corman which is kinda exotic pop star singer. But to his disappointment, he can't write a song since it has been years since the last time so he told to his manager that he needs a help of a lyricist.

fortunately, his quirky plant-keeper, sophie fisher, who has quite a way with words and may possess just the kind of songwriting talent but just recently break-up with newly famous novelist so she got low self esteem and she feels she could not do it.

after a series conversation with sophie she finally agree to collaborate with him. after 3 days they finished the song and afterwards they sleep together.

cora luckily like the song but want to make it danceable by incorporating an indian sound which clashes the song. sophie didn't like it so she tried to talk to cora but alex stop her and their relationship ends because they were not able to compromise.

on the concert where the song they had composed will be performed by alex and cora. sophie watched to her surprised cora introduced alex and announced that the song alex will be performing is his own song. she begins to leave, under the impression that Alex stripped her of her songwriting credit. Alex instead performs an entirely new song ("Don't Write Me Off") written by himself about his and Sophie's relationship, despite his admitted inability to write lyrics. Alex tells Sophie backstage that he convinced Cora to remove the Indian-themed introduction of "Way Back into Love" as an attempt to "win her back". The original version of the song is performed by the two (Alex and Cora), after which Alex and Sophie kiss backstage.
